  • Grading Method Used

    The Official American Numismatic Association (ANA) Standards for United States coins is the Grading System used on each and every coin graded by ACGS. The scale for this standard is based on the 11 point system identified by ANA. The range for Circulated coins is from AG-3 TO AU-58 and MS-60 TO MS-70 for Uncirculated coins. Proof coins are also graded by these standards and can be identified by the abbreviation of PR-. PLEASE NOTE coin grading is very subjective and it is the objective of ACGS to provide correct and accurate grade through the utilization of this method.
